Backstory: At a young age Matsuko was taught various forms of fighting from Karate to Judo by her father Igowiani a regaining martial arts champion. Her mother Mari a world class gymnast trained her to be quick and cunning. Together they were one big athletic family until one day from returning home from school Matsuko found her parents not at home. Amusing they were out running errands she waited for them to return ... and she waited and waited but they never came home. The police soon put out an alert for the two parents to be found but until then Matsuko would have to live with her aunt Ranmouri. Years past, Matsuko grew up to be a pretty young lady but her parents were still missing. Wanting to find out why the police never found them she decided to take a job as a secretary for the local department to uncover some lost files. She found one the contained the alleged whereabouts of a suspect involved in the crime. This was her opportunity to act. She dawned on a costume she made and set out into the crime ridden town as the mysterious fighter, Purple Lotus.
